20 School children missing in Brecon Beacons National park in South Wales as rescued team has been launched

A group of 20 school children has gone missing in the Brecon Beacons.

Rescue teams are involved in the search for the group on the mountain range in South Wales.

The alarm was raised at about 1pm on Wednesday and a multi-agency launched.

Three mountain rescue teams are reported to be involved in the hunt for the group, along with the police.A Coastguard rescue helicopter has also been sent to the scene to help with the search.

The search is focusing on an area near Tafarn Y Garreg, just north of Abercraf in Powys.
