Off-duty English policeman stabbed outside Paris bar after watching France v Iceland Euro 2016 match

An off-duty English police officer has been seriously injured after being stabbed outside a Paris bar where he was watching a Euro 2016 match.
The 25-year-old was reportedly watching the France v Iceland game with his wife when he was attacked on Sunday night.
His attacker was reportedly not a football supporter. Police found two knives covered in blood in bins close to the scene following the attack.
As reported by Le Parisien, the off-duty officer was wearing the colours of both France and Iceland.
However, he was believed to have been supporting Iceland.
It is thought the victim had been in a dispute with his attacker shortly before he was stabbed.
An off-duty French police officer was passing by the scene and heard the commotion.
He then arrested a man who allegedly carried out the attack.
The victim - whose identity is not yet known - was taken to hospital. He is described as being in serious condition but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
